John Contreras and team established Austin Professional Construction Services in 2020. After successfully building and establishing Austin Professional Painting as the top painting contractor in town John and Co. decided to provide the Austin market with a bigger scope of services. As Austin Professional Painting’s sister company Austin Professional Construction Services inherited the same culture of respect, professionalism, and commitment.

John began his construction career as a summer part-time job for Doug Gorton Professional Painting while attending Stephen F. Austin High School. His true passion for Painting and home renovation led him to start and establish Austin Professional Painting. John’s road to success weighs heavily in putting the customers first and strives to secure their loyalty through top quality service, which many times lead to repeat projects and referrals. John also emphasizes his value in hiring top-notch full time experts and seeks to help them achieve their full potential; to embrace professionalism and excellence in everything that they do. John prides himself in having a team of not only great craftsman but honest and responsible team members as well as an office staff that focus on customer service.

Project manager/ crew leader/ operations manager

A Production Manager is assigned to your project; In order to maintain Clear Communication, Quality Control, Product Knowledge, and Process and Application Methods. Experienced, English speaking crew leader at all times. Each Branch has it’s own operations manager for a detailed and professional service.

During the project (the process)

With minimal disruption, we will complete your project quickly and correctly—the first time. Using the correct tools and with the utmost attention to detail, we will deliver a final product that comes with a 3-year satisfaction guarantee.

Clean-up (post-project)

We will leave the jobsite better than we found it. All trash is removed, fixtures are restored, and a beautiful new job in place before we consider the job complete.


We aren’t finished until you’ve completed a thorough walk-through at the end of the job and approved our work. We rely on recommendations and we’ll work hard to earn yours!
